What to expect as a Location Manager

Leadership & Team

  • Lead by example on the floor and inspire a positive, motivating culture

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and develop staff

  • Ensure strong communication and high well-being across the team

Operations & Service

  • Oversee daily café and kitchen operations, ensuring smooth collaboration

  • Maintain high standards of service and product quality

  • Handle guest inquiries and ensure excellent guest experience

Finance & Administration

  • Monitor budgets and operational costs with your Operations Manager

  • Manage stock, ordering, and monthly inventory counts

  • Balance time between floor shifts (3–4 per week) and admin tasks

Development & Partnerships

  • Contribute ideas to the company's vision and service improvements

  • Build and maintain relationships with key external partners

  • Support social media presence by sharing content and updates with the comms team

Maintenance & Reporting

  • Ensure the café is well-maintained, coordinating with contractors as needed

  • Report regularly to your Operation manager on performance, finances, and staff updates
